Cassian Gray is a London based photographer.

Working mostly with people and the urban landscape, Cassian explores his connection to others and seeks to elevate his surroundings through image making. He uses the camera as a tool to instigate encounters - documenting individuals, places and communities that would otherwise pass unnoticed.

Learning photography on analogue cameras has endued him with great patience when photographing, allowing for a slower, more considered process. This creates a comfortable environment where he can focus on the engagement between himself and the subject, seeking to find a certain truth of the people he's photographing.

He holds a BA in Photography and has had work featured on platforms such as British Journal of Photography, The Telegraph, Creative Review and It's Nice That.
